"One of the main motivators for me in creating this film was to return independent film to an entertainment medium. I think we've really started to lose that sense of magic and wonder that first inspired us. All too often I found myself being excited to see a great independent feature or short film only to be hit with a film heavy laden with social injustice or political undertones. I don't want to come out of theater feeling like I want to kill myself."
